Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Bryce Barfuss, DDS
Dr. Barfuss, his wife, (Heidi) and their five children have been a part of the Twin Falls community since 2005. He loves the people of the Magic Valley and enjoys serving them. Dr. Barfuss completed his undergraduate work at Ricks College and Idaho State University. He then went on to the University of Iowa for dental school. Since 2005, Dr. Barfuss has continued to learn and strive to provide great dentistry and a great experience for his patients. Dr. Barfuss desires to make a difference in people’s lives any way that he can. Outside of the office, Dr. Barfuss and his family enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, church service and being part of a great community.
Dr. Erik Permann, DDS
Dr. Permann grew up in Rockland, Idaho, and moved to Twin Falls in the summer of 2012. He thoroughly enjoys being a team member at Summit Dental Care and loves serving the people of the Twin Falls area. Dr. Permann enjoys forming professional relationships with patients and helping in their journey of improving their overall health and smile!
Prior to joining the team at Summit Dental Care, Dr. Permann attended BYU-Idaho for his undergraduate studies. He then graduated summa cum laude from the Ohio State University School of Dentistry. Go Buckeyes! Before his return to the great state of Idaho, he practiced dentistry in the Amarillo, Texas area. He is accompanied by his wonderful wife, Melanie, and their five boys and one beautiful little girl. In addition to his love of dentistry, Dr. Permann enjoys farming, working on cars, riding dirt bikes, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Aaron Capener, DMD
Dr. Aaron Capener loves being a part of the team at Summit Dental Care. He and his wife Camille, as well as their two boys, are thrilled to call Twin Falls home and be a part of this community.
Dr. Capener grew up in Idaho Falls. He served a two-year church mission in Mexico, he enjoys any opportunity to speak Spanish and connect with people in the Spanish speaking community.
After completing his undergraduate studies at BYU-Idaho Dr. Capener attended Case Western University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
In addition to dentistry Dr. Capener’s favorite things are to spend time outside with his family and share his wide variety hobbies with others. He loves anything with motors and he used to race snowmobiles professionally. Although his days of racing are over he still enjoys riding with family and friends.
